donating an instrument

Where can I drop off a donation?

We have four drop-off locations around the Valley, listed below for your convenience.  If for some reason you can't make it to one of our drop-off locations, please fill out the form below and we'll arrange to pick them up.

Please refrain from dropping off large instruments such as pianos and organs at our drop off locations. Our affiliates have limited room to store instruments for us and cannot hold large instruments for us.

What types of instruments do you accept?

We accept and appreciate every type of instrument, small and large! However, we cannot accept every large instrument donation that we receive due to storage constraints. Still, submit a request and we will contact you for more information.

What if the instrument I want to donate is not in perfect condition?

We accept instruments that need a little TLC or repairs. At Restore Arts, we work hard to restore, reinvent, and reuse instruments in all conditions. Instruments that cannot be repaired are often used as educational tools in our programs.

What if I need the instrument picked up?

Fill out the donation form at the bottom of this page to contact us about arranging a pick up for your donation. Our team picks up all over the Greater Phoenix Metropolitan area around your schedule.

"Old Instruments, New Life" is the Restore Arts program for finding and placing gently used musical instruments in classrooms that need them.  We accept a wide variety of instruments, so please take another look in that closet, talk to a friend or relative about donating that musical instrument that is collecting dust and just yearning to be played again.  As our efforts and footprint grow, we will begin to offer additional options for donating your instrument.
